Finlandia Saunas is one of the oldest sauna companies in the US. Based out of Portland, OR, Finlandia Saunas provides quality heaters and accessories to build your sauna from the ground up.
Heaters & Controls
Finlandia sells Harvia steam heaters which are known for their quality and performance. Customers can find multiple styles and sizes to fit the square footage and design of their sauna.
All heaters from Finlandia have:
- Stainless steel elements for long life.
- Large rock capacity for heat storage.
- Direct rock contact with heating elements-necessary to filter the harsh heat radiating from the 1400° F elements, to eliminate the electo magnetic field for safe and therapeutic bathing: (the bather feels only pleasant, soft heat) and to produce the best steam when water is poured over them.
- Free airflow for faster heating.
- Maximum strength and durability from pressed metal design.
Finlandia and Harvia Sauna heaters have 3-wall construction for cooler surface temperature and greater safety. All Finlandia and Harvia electric Sauna heaters are UL or ETL tested and listed.
Woodburning Sauna Stoves
Ideal for remote areas with no adequate electricity, the stove is manufactured by the largest woodburning Sauna stove factory in Finland. Woodburning stoves provide a very soft, soothing heat and a wonderful atmosphere. Stoves include an adaptor which converts metric pipe size to standard 6″ pipe size. All Woodburning stoves must have proper ventilation.

Doors
Finlandia Sauna Wood Doors are manufactured from the highest quality vertical grain Douglas Fir available from the Pacific Northwest. Engineered door stiles and solid rails insure long term stability. All of our wood doors are fitted with hermetically sealed, tempered, insulated glass, which provides superior insulation and heat retention.
Standard Doors
Our standard FINLANDIA Sauna door is 24″ x 80″ and is fitted with clear insulated glass measuring 16″ x 60″. Standard rough opening is 26″ x 82″. Standard jamb is made of Hemlock with jamb width of 4 3/4″. All doors available with left or right hinge. See below for important ordering information.
Exclusive Etched Glass Options
Our exclusive glass options have been custom designed and etched by an artist. When ordering this option, you have a choice of our unique Sauna Scene or Rustic Sauna designs in positive or negative image, or a choice of our beautiful Scenic Designs: Mt. Hood, Multnomah Falls, Liberty, Lighthouse, or Sailboat. Artwork is sealed inside the insulated glass unit so that etchings are protected from smudging or scratching. Etchings are available for the 24″ door size only but some custom sizes may be special ordered.
Sauna Flooring
Finlandia Sauna carries both Superdek and Eurodek flooring:
Superdek flooring is ½” thick injection molded soft plastic and is ideal as a mat on any hard surfaced Sauna floor. It comes in 12″ x 12″ squares and is easily cut with a utility knife. Superdek provides a non-slip, comfortable, and sanitary surface to walk on. It can be removed periodically to clean. Each tile contains Vinyzene® SB-1 antimicrobial which fights mold, mildew, and infectious bacteria.
Eurodek is injection molded plastic that is slatted. It comes in 2′ or 3′ wide sections in a variety of colors and can be rolled up. It is about 5/16″ thick. Great for pools and spas as well.
